Spencer, one of the original founders of the firm, began his career in public practice after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Vancouver Island University in 2009. After completing the Chartered Accountants School of Business, he was admitted to the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2012. Shortly thereafter, Spencer passed the International Qualification Exam to become a U.S. Certified Public Accountant, licensed through Illinois. He is also a licensed U.S. tax return preparer and a Certified Acceptance Agent, assisting U.S. taxpayers in obtaining Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers.

Originally from Port Alberni, Spencer continues to enjoy residing on Vancouver Island, where he works closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. His expertise lies in tax planning and the preparation of Canadian and U.S. tax returns, ensuring precision and efficiency in his work. Spencer thrives on the challenge of working with cross-border clients, developing effective tax strategies that navigate both Canadian and U.S. tax laws.

In his free time, Spencer enjoys playing pickleball and spending quality time with his family, exploring the natural beauty of Vancouver Island through camping and outdoor adventures.
